We will support you with information you need to help you make right decisions.

Your decision to become a parent is not without its complexities and challenges, especially as this journey usually involves egg donation or embryo donation, sometimes sperm donation, and the engagement of a surrogate to bring your child to term.

Information

Things to Consider

The emotional issues are likely to be considerable, if not daunting, given potential questions, curiosity, misunderstandings and resistance from relatives and/or friends. Rest assured that we are here to assist with information advice and support on your way to happy parenthood.

At present, any treatment involving a surrogacy arrangement is not eligible for Medicare rebates. This may place a greater financial burden on yourself and your partner than initially thought. It’s a good idea to speak to your specialist and your clinic to get as much information on the cost of treatment as you can.
We will also help you cope with the inevitable questions from your child as they grow and become increasingly curious about how they came to be and all the things that come with being donor conceived.
